Field Trips Galore!

Timothy House Field Trip

On Friday, May 18th, the Timothy House EAL students went to the Liberty Science Center. They climbed a rock wall, saw different animals, ate crickets, learned what happens to water in the Hudson River when the river meets the ocean, crawled through a pitch black tunnel using only their sense of touch, and saw a 3D movie on hurricanes. Everyone had an amazing time and left with some fun souvenirs from the gift shop!

Middle School Field Trip

On Thursday, May 17th, the Middle School EAL students took a trip to the Central Park Zoo. They had a crash course on the zoo and a few of their animal exhibits. They then were zoo ambassadors and interacted with zoo guests to share their knowledge on snow leopards, bears, and penguins. We then walked around the zoo and had a blast feeding the animals at the petting zoo.
