In 3rd grade we have been practicing informational writing. Konrad researched about how to become an inventor. After learning more about this career, he created an informational poster about the steps inventors have to take when they have a new idea. Take a look at his finished product!

6th and 7th Grade:
EAL Bentley House students studied John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s presidency and celebrated the centennial of his birth by seeing an exhibit at the New York Historical Society. Issues such as the Space Race, Cuban Missile Crisis and the assassination of JFK were covered.
Using imagery, Shirley made “a mood board” for our story,”To Build a Fire” by Jack London. She depicted feelings, tone, motif, sights and sounds in this short story.
4th graders each read 4 books over the Thanksgiving break. They then chose their favorite book and created a PicCollage to share the book with their classmates.
